Moscow Attorneys' Office flagged "SouthPark" as "extremist" and urged the
TV channel "2x2" to stop broadcast it.

"Popular cartoon serial South Park was proclaimed outlaw in Russia.
Capital (Moscow) Attorneys' Office waived a petition to Basmanny Court for
admitting the cartoon as "extremist" according to Federal act "About
counteraction to extremist activity", reports Grani.ru citing Interfax.
At the same time, TV channel "2x2", which broadcasting the serial, got the
warning about inadmissibility to distribute extremist content and to
conduct an extremist activity.

Basmanny Interdistrict Attorneys' Office has conduct probation about the
fact of broadcasting one of cartoon's episone in the air of "2x2" TV channel
in January, 9th.

"According to the investigations, held by an expert of the Center of Judical
Expertises of North-Western Moscow District, in given videomaterials was
found indicators, which are directing to extremist activity", - emphasized
the Attorney's Office spokesman.

- Attorney's Office beileves that cartoon can cause negative reaction among
vast majority of spectators, because disparages honour and dignity of
christians and muslims, insults the feelings of believers regardless of
their confession, could provoke ethnic conflict, which not excluding the
extremist acts, and to encourage the inciting of "interreligious hostility".

Moscow Attorneys Office flagged "SouthPark" as "extremist" and urged the
TV channel "2x2" to stop broadcast it.

The scandalous story about "2x2" TV channel and searches for extremist activity of Mr. Hankey from SouthPark cartoon serial became known to SouthPark creators. More, they may create new episode based on this story.

"That's can't be true, that's can't be true! You are joking, aren't? - said girl Catty from Comedy Central press-service, choking with laughter. - Oh, wait, I get to tell this to the guys"

After a minute and a half of amazed shouts and delighted screams, Catty took the tube and said: "You know, we think that's very good - it's an excellent plot for the new episode".

On Tuesday, District court of Moscow Basmanny district held hearings on Moscow Attorneys Office petition about extremist content in South Park cartoon "Christmas songs of Mr. Hankey". The court ordered to conduct the linguistic expertise. Experts have to smell Mr. Hankey and to conclude, where the shit is - in songs of Mr.Hankey, or in Attorneys' Office petition.
Cartoon was broadcasted by "2x2" air TV channel. Meanwhile, the licence of channel, which was about to expire, had been prolonged by October 2013, nevertheless of suspisions of displaying the "extremist" cartoon.
